This Ardagh Brooch collection is inspired by the Ardagh Chalice, dating back to the 8th Century. Celtic brooches were worn by both men and women, and were stylish status symbols for the elite of Celtic society. These highly decorative pieces were worn for “special occasions” and worn by those of especially high status.
